House of Hope was founded in 1996 after much prayer. They started humbly, by caring for minority groups-hill tribe children coming from broken families, where their parents are affected or addicted to drugs, infected or has lost their lives to HIV (AIDS), or plagued with financial difficulties. House of Grace was developed a few years later in 2003, to house children who come from poor families and whose villages are in remote areas, which denies them access to proper education. Hence it restricts their potential to learn and gain knowledge. House of Grace was developed in order for these children to provide them with an opportunity to go to school and to be cared for.
